We know how good blueberries are for us, but they’re great for your little ones too. They're a great source of Vitamin K and they’re packed with antioxidants. Vitamin K is the magic nutrient that helps bones to stay strong and blood to clot so wounds can heal quickly. Antioxidants protect cells against damage by free radicals.

When to give to your baby

Blueberries make a good choice for one of baby’s first fruits, however, if you want to add them in the early stages of weaning, it is important to cook them first so you can make a puree to remove the choking hazard. We recommend to start weaning at around 6 months, however every baby is different so follow your instinct or consult your health visitor if you are not sure.
